Below are a list of skills and explanations that embody who I am and the work and team ethics that I try and persue on a daily basis.

1)      Time Management, Leadership, Microsoft office, Budgeting, Problem Solving

2)      Negotiating, Written Communication, Team Working

Time Management:  I have evenly balanced a full course-load and a full-time job over the past two years.  I have had to adapt to different time constraints and make my schedule work.

Leadership:  I have led three teams of Marketing Representatives in the Phoenix market for the past two years.  Being able to inspire and provide an example for my employees has been crucial.

Budgeting:  Have used my skills to budget an annual trade-spending budget of $365,000.

Microsoft Office:  Report all financial and in-market activity via Excel and Powerpoint presentations.  Both are the two tools most used to exemplify the successes of my program.

Problem Solving:  Have made necessary changes to make the work environment more comfortable by defusing employees’ personal problems.  I can also adapt to certain situations that can go awry; one example is when I have models scheduled at my events and they do not show, I have to be able to make the necessary changes so that the outcome of my event is not effected.

Negotiating:  I broker all deals between Anheuser-Busch and their clients in terms of their special events and entertainment budgeting.

Written Communication:  I am always communicating via email.

Team Working:  I lead three teams and have to make sure that all of them are working cohesively and that all ideas and opinions are heard.

Persuading:  I love to be able to manipulate certain deals that I have to broker.  Some times it is to my advantage when I have the ability to change (in my favor) certain parts of contracts and product placement deals.

Interviewing:  Was not totally aware that this was a skill, but since it is listed I am going with it.  I have a great interview process for all of my new-hires.  I do an initial interview at a restaurant in order to see the person in a real-world environment.  I then ask them to come out for drinks with the rest of the team (as it is a social job) to see if they would be a strong fit for a very team-orientated position.
